MY STORY

THE DOCTOR BEHIND THE BRAND

My Name is
Dr. Corina Oldenburg

I was born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and spent most of my childhood and youth in the countryside. There I learned a lot about traditional healing methods. I was fascinated by the knowledge about the natural active ingredients of plants, that had been passed down for generations. For example, we used propolis for sore throats, because it has an antibacterial effect. Today I use the bee glue in my cosmetics.

I completed my chemistry studies at the University of Babeș-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and wrote my dissertation on the subject of insect fragrances. The research continued at the Max Plank Institute in Seewiesen, Germany. There, too, the focus continued to be on insects and their pheromones.

After completing my postdoctoral fellowshipy, my interest in health and beauty eventually led me to the cosmetics industry. I worked as a scientific manager in a cosmetics company and was responsible for the development, quality assurance and production of cosmetic products.

The period of my self-employment began when my daughter asked me to develop a facial cleanser for her. This is how the classic version of my facial cleansing products was born. Today I produce it under the name C2. The success of this first own product had awakened my fascination and passion for the development of cosmetics. Since then, many other products have been developed.

My goal is to produce 100% natural cosmetics. This goal led me very early to the topic of preservation. Unfortunately the substances available on the market are limited and not natural. Which is why even common natural cosmetics use chemical preservatives. Since this is out of the question for me, I devote a lot of time and energy to research. I am proud to have developed alternative and natural preservation systems. Preservation systems that can withstand even the modern preservative stress tests! Something many believed impossible.

My motto is: pure nature for the skin! I develop creams that contain what the skin needs and not what a cream needs to be a cream in the classic sense.

NATURAL

We choose all our ingredience with the utmost care and ensure that they are natural, pure, environmentally friendly and organic wherever possible. We do not use synthetic fragrances or dyes, genetically modified ingredients, silicone oils or derivatives. Animal testing is out of the question. In addition, we guarantee 100% natural preservation. With us you get pure nature for your skin.

INNOVATIVE

Research and development have a high priority for us. We invest a lot of time and energy to find the perfect ingredience, the ideal composition and especially the right preservation. Therefore, the research of natural preservation has a long tradition in our company. We have found a way to preserve our products with only natural substances.

SUSTAINABLE

Sustainability is an important topic of our time. We see it as our task, to treat nature with care and want to make a contribution to the protection and conservation of our environment. Therefore we focus on the sustainability of our production methods and our products. For us, sustainability begins with the choice of the ingrediance and extends to the choice of packaging.

HIGH QUALITY

All ingredience we use are of the highest quality and purity. We are all about what your skin needs. We work according to the principle “everything is an active ingredient”. For example, we do not use tap water for our creams, but high-quality hydrolates, such as lavender or rose water. Because we do not use any auxiliary substances or additives, our creams are highly concentrated and yielding.

PERSONAL

When we develop our products, we think of you. We ask ourselves, what your skin needs and what compositions and fragrances you might like. That’s why we have a product for every skin condition. Individualized cosmetics is our specialty. At requests, we develop personalized products or series for customers. We are happy to be there for you and advise you on our products and their application.

SMART PACKAGING

Packaging plays a crucial role in sustainable cosmetic products. Often this aspect is neglected. But we know how important this small detail is. To ensure the quality of the product in the long term, we use containers made of glass. Compositions with natural essential oils are better protected in glass packaging. We make it a point to package our products responsibly and sustainably.

We intend to encourage our consumers to return to themselves, to go back in time, to revisit their origins. We want to bring once again the attention upon ourselves, upon nature and its importance in our growth. We imagine a world where love is the secret ingredient and compassion the compulsory spice to a healthy and balanced life.

What differentiates us? We strive to be sustainable in everything we do.That’s why we only use 100% organic ingredients. This is our promise. A skin that glows is a skin that knows it deserves the best. Our motto is ‘Everything is an active ingredient.’. Hence we don’t use any additives or chemically processed ingredients. Gradually eliminating emulsifiers is our top priority.
